Prince Harry’s Hilarious Interview With Barack Obama

Prince Harry’s Hilarious Interview With Barack Obama
The two friends joked during a radio session.

Former United States President Obama and Britain’s Prince Harry chatted and joked like old friends in a radio interview filmed for part of a BBC television series.

In clip released from the interview, which was recorded at the Invictus Games in Toronto earlier this year, Obama asks Prince Harry: “Do I have to speak faster? Because I’m a slow speaker”, to which Prince Harry says “not at all.”

Obama then goes on to ask “Do I need a British accent?”, prompting Prince Harry to warn him that long pauses between questions and answers will result in Obama getting “the face.” The former US president feigns horror, saying “I don’t want to see that face!”

In a statement released from Kensington Palace, the interview is outlined to include Obama’s memories of the day he left office, “his hopes for his post-presidential life [and] his plans to focus on cultivating the next generation of leadership through the Obama Foundation.” The interview also includes a discussion about Prince Harry and Obama’s “shared interest in building platforms for the next generation of young leaders.”

The interview will air on BBC Radio 4 on December 27. Watch an excerpt below.
