Meghan Markle has made her first official engagement as the fiancée of Prince Harry.

The couple attended the World Aids Day fair in Nottingham.

Introducing herself as ‘Meghan’, the future Royal was overheard saying ‘I’m so happy, it’s just such a thrill to be here. I can’t believe it’.

Prince Harry looked full of pride as he watched his future wife engage with the crowds in a role he knew would come very naturally to her. In their engagement interview on Monday, Markle expressed her interest in getting her ‘boots on the ground’, and four days later she was visiting a community very special to Harry.

As the crowds shouted their congratulations, the happy couple shook hands with people and with Markle accepting a beautiful bouquet of flowers.
