Prince George and Princess Charlotte have big roles at Princess Eugenie’s wedding

The second royal wedding of 2018 is fast approaching, with Princess Eugenie set to marry Jack Brooksbank on Friday, October 12.

With only days to go before Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank tie the knot, the Palace has revealed fresh new details of the upcoming nuptials. Prince George and Princess Charlotte will act as pageboy and bridesmaid, while the bride’s sister, Princess Beatrice, has been confirmed as the maid of honour.

Joining Princess Charlotte as bridesmaid will be singer Robbie Williams’ six-year-old daughter Theodora, Mia Tindall, Zara and Mike Tindall’s four-year-old daughter, Savannah and Isla Philips and Maud Windsor.

Prince George will be page boy with six-year-old Louis de Givenchy, who is the son of JP Morgan banking executive Olivier de Givenchy and his wife Zoe.

There’s no denying that Beatrice and Eugenie are extremely close. The daughters of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, who are just one year apart in age, previously lived together at an apartment in St. James’ Palace before Eugenie and her fiancé Jack Brooksbank moved to Ivy Cottage, a home within Kensington Palace.

How to watch the nuptials

Princess Eugenie’s wedding is taking place an hour earlier than Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s, meaning that  watchers on this side of the world will need to be awake before the ceremony starts at 11 a.m. local time, which means staying up until 9 p.m Sydney time or 11 p.m New Zealand time.

The royal family and the Duke of York will also livestream the ceremony on their respective social media channels starting at 5 a.m. EST/10 a.m. BST. Keep an eye out on the accounts below:
