Non-profit organisation Raising Hope NZ are hosting a charity ball in November to raise money for the Plunket B4 School programme. A nationwide program that provides free health and developmental checks for 4-year-olds, The B4 School program aims to improve the lives of children from struggling families.
The program targets issues including housing, sickness education, family violence, childhood obesity and behavioural problems. Plunket wish to give starter packs to children in need, which would include a drink bottle, backpack, lunch box and book.
To provide Plunket with funding, Raising Hope NZ have organised a charity ball. Founded by a group of New Zealand women, Raising Hope NZ strives to help children that lack a positive, nurturing home environment. All funds from the ball will go towards the B4 School starter packs.
The Charity Ball is on November 4 at the Hilton Hotel, Auckland. A table of 10 is $2290 or $229 per seat and includes champagne, canapes, dinner, auction and a live band.
