Our favourite Commonwealth Day moments
MiNDFOOD looks back at our most-loved moments from the Commonwealth Service.

This Monday marks the 2020 Commonwealth Day service, an annual celebration observed by people all over the Commonwealth in Africa, Asia, the Caribbean and Americas, the Pacific and Europe.

In the lead up to Prince Harry and Meghan’s highly anticipated return to the royal spotlight, we look back at some of our favourite moments from this special day.

Princess Diana and Prince Edward share a laugh as they arrive for the Commonwealth dinner at Marlborough House in 1993.

At the 2019 service, Kate dazzled in a striking red coat designed Catherine Walker as she arrived at the abbey where she married Prince William in 2011.

At the same year’s service, Meghan Markle showed her soft side as she accepted flowers from a young girl.

Britain’s Sophie, Countess of Wessex showed off her style in an eye-catching fascinator in 2012.

In 2015, a pregnant Duchess of Cambridge arrived at the service in a tasteful blush ensemble.

Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip were all smiles as they left Westminster Abbey at the 2012 Commonwealth Day service.
