Australian actress Nicole Kidman is reuniting with 'Big Little Lies' writer David E. Kelley for a new murder mystery television show.

Nicole Kidman is set to star in another limited TV series written by Big Little Lies writer David E. Kelley. Based on Jean Hanff Korelitz’s novel You Should Have Known, the series will star Kidman as a successful New York therapist Grace Sachs, who is about to publish her first book.

“Weeks before her book is published, a chasm opens in her life: a violent death, a missing husband, and, in the place of a man Grace thought she knew, only a chain of terrible revelations,” HBO said in a press release. “Left behind in the wake of a spreading and very public disaster, and horrified by the ways in which she has failed to heed her own advice, Grace must dismantle one life and create another for her child and herself.”

Both Kidman and Kelley are executive producers of The Undoing. “David has created another propulsive series with a fascinating, complicated female role at its centre,” Kidman said in a statement. “I’m excited and honoured to continue collaborating with HBO and David E. Kelley.”

The second season of Big Little Lies will see the 50-year-old Australian actress reprise the role of Celeste Wright, for which she has won an Emmy and a Golden Globe. Reese Witherspoon will be returning in her role as actress and producer, and Meryl Streep will also be joining the cast.
