New exhibition lets visitors fully immerse themselves in 19th century art

A new exhibition is giving visitors a chance to step into the world of Monet, Renoir, Matisse and other iconic Modernist artists.

Held at the Atelier des Lumières in Paris, Monet, Renoir… Chagall. Voyages en Méditerranée is a fully immersive experience, taking visitors on a visual and aural journey throughout twenty of the world’s most renowned artists.

Illustrating the unique style of each artist, the exhibition will feature over 500 works, filling the iconic Atelier des Lumières with bright colours to bring these works to life.

Produced by Culturespaces, the visual spectacle will fill the floors and walls ten metres high, creating the illusion of a mirror of the sea and the dazzling sun.

A musical creation by Gianfranco Ianuzzi, Massimiliano Siccardi and Renato Gatto will accompany the exhibition, making it a truly immersive and on-of-a-kind gallery experience.

Renoir, Monet, Pissarro, Matisse, Signac, Derain, Vlaminck, Dufy, and Chagall and among some of the artists on display, all tied together through their inspiration from Van Gogh and connection to the Mediterranean.

The exhibition will run from 28 February 2020 – 3 January 2021.
