Musicians perform concerts from home during COVID-19 outbreak
Musicians, artists and performers are some of the biggest hit by the COVID-19 outbreak - with major festivals and concerts being cancelled around the world.

Some of the biggest names in music have turned to live streaming from their homes as they join the millions of others in self isolation.

John Legend, Keith Urban and Chris Martin are among the rockstars turning to Instagram to live stream their performances.

With his bandmates “stuck in different countries”, Martin performed a one-man set on his piano, playing a number of Coldplay hits and covers.

The at-home concerts were all part of the Sessions: Together, At Home initiative by Global Citizen Festival and the World Health Organisation.

Keith Urban, who also went live on Instagram, performed his hits in front of wife Nicole Kidman, whom he referred to as his “audience of one”.

The next musicians are yet to be announced, though John Legend, who is set to perform next, has asked his fans “let me know which other artists I should pass the torch to”.
