The Beckhams better bake some cookies; it seems they have some new neighbours moving in.

After their fairytale wedding, a string of public appearances, and whirlwind honeymoon (location undisclosed!), life is going to get even more hectic for Meghan and Harry.

They are expected to make more public appearances this summer, but will also be rolling up their sleeves to do some responsible homeowner tasks over the coming months, too.

While the royal couple wait to see if the Queen will be gifting them a new country house in Sandringham (as they did for Kate and Wills) they will be renovating Nottingham Cottage at Kensington Palace.

That’s not all though, the Duke and Duchess have also supposedly signed a two-year lease on a home located on the Great Tew Estate in the Cotswolds, which is located about 90 minutes from London. The home has been a refuge for the couple, who reportedly spent the weekend there before their wedding (to escape from the madness).

Situated on 4,000-acre grounds that also includes the Soho House’s Soho Farmhouse outpost, the home sits beside David and Victoria Beckham’s country home. Meghan apparently fell in love with the estate when she first visited it, and the fact that the Beckhams, their friends and wedding guests, would be their neighbors made her love it even more. This, as well as the security cameras they’ve installed around the property, will help the couple to feel safe and secure.

Harry, a bit of a music buff, will definitely be chuffed with the home. After all, he only has to pop down the road to the Cornbury Festival to enjoy some good music.
