MiNDFOOD Red ‘Heart Health’ Issue on Good Morning TVNZ
Actress Nicole Whippy and coronary care nurse Natalie Flynn go on TVNZ's Good Morning show to talk about our special May red issue & heart health.

When we discovered that 48 New Zealand women die from heart related disease every week, we knew we had to join the fight.

So we decided to throw our support behind the cause and help to raise awareness of this alarming statistic – our special red May edition of MiNDFOOD Magazine was born.

In it we showcased photographs of 48 women who had been affected by heart disease and were committed to supporting the cause. Photographed in glorious red they share their personal stories and help spread the good word of the NZ Heart Foundation.

Two of the women who took part, actress Nicole Whippy and coronary care nurse Natalie Flynn, joined TVNZ’s Good Morning programme to talk about the special red issue, why they feel so passionate about heart health and their message for women everywhere.
