MiNDFOOD picks from the Rolling Stone 500 best albums

Rolling Stones have released the 500 greatest albums of all time.

MiNDFOOD picks from the Rolling Stone 500 best albums

The pop culture magazine’s original list was published in 2003 and despite the fact that almost two decades have passed, the list remains wildly popular and polarising, with nearly 63 million readers last year alone, according to Rolling Stone.

Rolling Stone amended the list to include 86 albums from this century, and 154 are new additions that weren’t on the 2003 or 2012 versions. The classics are still the classics, but the canon keeps getting bigger and better.

1. Marvin Gaye, ‘What’s Going On’
