Beauty buffs, get excited: the world’s most sought-after beauty brands are coming to Tauranga when the Bay of Plenty’s very first Mecca Maxima opens its doors on Thursday the 6th of December at Bayfair Centre.
The impressive 290-square-metre beauty emporium will sit in the heart of Bayfair Centre’s revamped fashion and lifestyle precinct. Beauty fanatics will be able to experience over 40 leading make-up, skincare and fragrance brands including NARS, Hourglass, Stila, Drunk Elephant, Tatcha and Mario Badescu.
“Whilst MECCA’s brands are available nationwide online, we have been looking for the right opportunity to bring our blockbuster beauty experience that is Mecca Maxima to the Bay of Plenty region,” says Carly Emery, New Zealand country manager for
MECCA. “We’re very excited to be opening our eleventh New Zealand store and customers can expect some fantastic opening day celebrations!”
These celebrations include Mecca Maxima’s juicy tote bags, plus the return of the MECCA Beauty Lockers whereby customers who spend over $70 NZD can open a locker and reveal a beauty prize including full-size products and MECCA gift cards. MECCA will also be surprising one lucky customer every hour by covering the cost of their basket at checkout.
Alongside a dedicated beauty tools area, the new Mecca Maxima Bayfair store will have six makeup stations available for expert makeup applications, as well as personalised beauty lessons.
The new Mecca Maxima Bayfair is set to open on Thursday 6th December at Bayfair Shopping Centre, Maunganui Rd, Tauranga.
