An 8-item range from Kylie Skin, the skincare arm of Kylie Jenner’s multi-million dollar beauty business will be available from all Mecca and Mecca Maxima stores as well as online at meccabeauty.co.nz from today.
The cosmetics range will not be available, and a Mecca spokesperson confirmed there are no plans for it to be added to Mecca’s lineup at this stage.
The skincare line has gained a mixed response since its launch online through Jenner’s own site in May 2019, with some reviews questioning the inclusion of products like a walnut scrub and foaming cleanser as outdated and potentially not so great for skin but there are just as many proponents of her products with more trending ingredients such as a vitamin C serum and a coconut body scrub which uses sugar as its exfoliant.
The items available in NZ will be the Foaming Face Wash, Walnut Face Scrub, Face Moisturiser, Eye Cream, Vanilla Milk Toner, Vitamin C Serum, Hydrating Face Mask and Coconut Body Scrub. All products are cruelty-free, vegan, gluten free, paraben and sulphate free and said to be suitable for all skin types.
