Furniture icons King Living have teamed up with Australian designer Charles Wilson to launch a new lighting collection, the Solifiore. Unveiled at Milan Design Week as part of the Local Design showcase, the collection features a series of standing lamps set to take King Living’ philosophy of design excellence to another level.
“The Solifiore Collection was conceived to form clusters in a space resembling giant plant-like forms”, says Wilson. “Striking as a group or individually, the lights feature slender bronze stems of different heights that morph into conical concrete bases. There are three iterations in the series: Gymea, Protea and Arum, each with distinctive hand-blown glass heads.”
The lighting collection blends contemporary design with cutting edge technology, using an innovative control mechanism integrated into the stem of the lighting collection allowing them to be dimmed and turned on and off by touch.

The Solifiore Collection will be available from King Living’s Auckland Showroom in Spring 2018.
