Kate Middleton Reveals Prince William Struggled With Parenthood
On a recent visit to the Hornsey Road Children's Centre, Kate Middleton spoke openly with other parents about the challenges William faced with fatherhood.

During her visit to the Centre, the Duchess was given a tour of the facilities, which supports local parents and young children. The welcoming environment offers care to expectant and new mothers and family support services, including perinatal mental health services offered by the charity, Family Action.

Kate, who is pregnant with her third child, spoke with the other parents about how William had struggled following the birth of Prince George in 2013.

The Duchess told single dad Billy – who is raising his seven-month daughter Violet alone – that William didn’t know what exactly to do when he first became a father. Billy said: “She [Kate] was saying William was sort of similar and I just wanted to let her know how Family Action has been there for me and I think they need more support.”

After rescheduling her visit following her severe morning sickness, the Duchess had time to speak with the parents and carers at the centre and play with the younger children.

Kate has a strong interest in mental health, including her current initiative Heads Together with Princes William and Harry. The charity aims to tackle stigma and change the conversation on mental health with fundraising for a series of innovative new mental health services.
