Kate Middleton Gets Her Hands Dirty and Plants a Garden for the Children’s Hospice
To mark Children's Hospice week, the Duchess of Cambridge created a patio garden along with families and staff for the children to enjoy.

After last week’s visit to the local nursery,  the Duchess of Cambridge created a beautiful space @EACH_hospices.

Sharing a video to mark Children’s Hospice Week, the Duchess thanked the staff and families for all they do for sick children.

The Duchess also revealed her children were having their own sunflower-growing competition. George, Charlotte and Louis are all enjoying the experience, however, “Louis is winning so George is a little grumpy about that,” she said.

The Duchess also re-potted a sunflower she had brought in memory of Fraser Delf, nine, who died at EACH’s Milton hospice in January. She laughed as she made “a big mess” while trying to repot a large sunflower, dropping soil on the floor.

She took part in planting strawberries, sunflowers, lavender, geraniums and herbs, all thoughtfully selected to awaken the children’s senses.
