What Made Kate Middleton Brave the Snow?
The Duchess stepped out on a snowy evening to attend a special event.

Freezing temperatures didn’t stop the Duchess of Cambridge from dressing in her finest and attending a preview exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery. The preview was important to Kate as she had helped curate the exhibition, called Victorian Giants: The Birth of Art Photography.

In her role as patron of the gallery, Kate was asked to write captions for some of her favourite images and form the first Patron’s Trail. She also wrote a forward to the exhibition’s catalogue.

The exhibition features works by Lewis Carroll, Lady Clementina Hawarden, Julia Margaret Cameron and Oscar Rejlander.
