Julia Louis-Dreyfus Celebrates End of Chemo With Sons
The actress has battled breast cancer with the support of her two sons.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus has finished her final round of chemotherapy with the close support of her family. The 56-year-old actress and producer was diagnosed with breast cancer in September 2017 and has been treated with chemotherapy for the past six months.

To celebrate the monumental day, Louis-Dreyfus’s two sons, Henry, 25, and Charlie, 20, created a hilarious video to Michael Jackson’s hit song Beat It. The video opens with the message “Mom’s Last Chemo Day!!! BEAT IT!!! Love, Henry and Charlie”, before showing both sons dancing energetically and lip-syncing to the song.

“My beauty boys @henryhallmusic @charlie_hall made this for me today, my last day of chemotherapy,” Louis-Dreyfus wrote on Instagram. “Pretty swell, right? Ain’t they sweet?”

After being diagnosed with breast cancer Louis-Dreyfus used the news to spread awareness of the disease. “1 in 8 women get breast cancer. Today, I’m the one,” she tweeted in September. “The good news is that I have the most glorious group of supportive and caring family and friends, and fantastic insurance through my union. The bad news is that not all women are so lucky, so let’s fight all cancers and make universal health care a reality.”
