17 hours after Italy’s 6.2-magnitude earthquake, a 10-year-old girl has been pulled from the rubble in the town of Pescara del Tronto.
The town, around 160 kilometres northeast of Rome in Central Italy, was one of the hardest hit in the deadly quake, which has seen more than 250 people killed with hundreds of people still missing. More than 1000 people have been displaced by the quake, which hit the towns of Amatrice – where at least 100 people were injured – and Accumoli and Arquata del Tronto the hardest.
