Is Prince William’s Response To Harry’s Engagement The Best Thing Ever?
"I hope it means he stays out of my fridge," said Prince William.

Prince William has spoken about his younger brother’s engagement announcement, taking the opportunity tease Prince Harry as brothers do.

“For me personally, I hope it means he stays out of my fridge and will stop scrounging my food, which he’s done for the last few years,” he told press while on an official visit in Finland.

The two princes have lived in close proximity for many years, with Prince Harry residing in Nottingham Cottage and Prince William in the nearby Kensington Palace apartment.

Prince William was quick to add that he was thrilled for his brother, however, wishing both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle “all the happiness in this very exciting time”.

Nodding to his own engagement to Kate Middleton in 2010, he said “They’ve got a lot of happy times ahead of them and I think they’re very caught up in the moment and I wish them all the happiness and success in planning the wedding.” He added that “I hope it goes really well.”

The royal wedding will take place in May 2018 at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle.
