Inside the issue: MiNDFOOD AU April 2021
This month, we're in full celebration mode with an exciting birthday issue of MiNDFOOD Australia.

For our exciting April issue of MiNDFOOD Australia, we’re celebrating our 13th birthday and the enduring Aussie spirit.

“Launching MiNDFOOD on International Women’s Day 13 years ago – this year going on sale again on that same launch day, March the 8th – makes me proud of all those talented women I’ve had surrounding me who believe in my potential, perhaps when at times I can’t see it myself,” writes Editor-in-Chief Michael McHugh.

“Take this time to celebrate those who celebrate you. More than anything, though, I realise MiNDFOOD, with its range of experiences and stories, is also a cheerleader for others and those who want to achieve their dream.”

Hollywood icon Michelle Pfieffer is our cover star. With a career spanning from classic ’80s and ’90s films to modern blockbusters, her star still shines brightly. After raising her children and running her own production company she has returned with a vengeance, now starring in leading roles in films like French Exit, starting a fragrance company, doing charity work … and always following her inner light.

For community, we share one woman’s story of surviving a terrible accident on her farm and celebrate the Aussie spirit and communities who came together during lockdown.

In culture, we see some of the world’s best art at Botticelli to Van Gogh: Masterpieces from the National Gallery, London and explore the Prada Institute‘s cerebral new project.

In health, we reflect on the importance of celebrating milestones, look at the way changing perceptions of chronic pain and explore the board game renaissance that’s benefitting our health.

Head over to beauty for the best treatments for the cooler days, bright and burnished cosmetic hues and rejuvenating rituals from head to toe.

In home, we round up the best interior design and décor ideas, and in travel, we explore Australia’s ‘Galapagos’ of Kangaroo Island and escape to King Valley, an Italian-esque slice of paradise in Victoria.

This month, we’ve got the best floral-themed cakes, crowd-pleasing vegetarian dishes and culinary highlights of South Australia‘s Coonawarra.

Plus, we’ve got plenty of puzzles, brain teasers and competitions to keep you entertained.
