Gin-infused chocolate: a holiday indulgence

For the first time KitKat Chocolatory is giving Australians a taste of gin-infused KitKat – available exclusively at KitKat Chocolatory this Christmas.

The two new limited release creations, developed in partnership with the Melbourne Gin Company, are handcrafted at the Melbourne Central boutique.

Incorporating Australian native botanicals, the KitKat Chocolatory x Melbourne Gin Company collection features iconic KitKat batch baked wafers smothered in luscious, gin-infused premium milk chocolate, paired with caramelised macadamia nut and juniper berries or candied citrus and rosemary.

KitKat Chocolatory Head Chocolatier Connie Yuen said: “Experimenting with spirits to create the world’s first gin-infused KitKat has been an exciting challenge!” the smooth milk chocolate for the ultimate taste sensation this Christmas.”

Melbourne Gin Company Founder and Master Distiller Andrew Marks adds: “ Paying homage to London Dry Gin, we’ve chosen classic ingredients like citrus, coriander seeds and rosemary, paired with Australian Native botanicals for a Melbourne twist.” 

The new KitKat Chocolatory Candied Citrus and Rosemary and KitKat Chocolatory Caramelised Macadamia with Juniper creations are available exclusively from KitKat Chocolatory, located in Melbourne Central.
