Travelling with their children, Prince George and his two-year-old sister Princess Charlotte, stole the show once again, dressed in Poland’s national colours for day one of the tour.
After meeting with the Polish president and first lady, William and Kate, visited the Warsaw Uprising museum which commemorates the 1944 battle against Nazi occupiers in which tens of thousands died.
During their five-day tour, William and Kate will also meet survivors of the Holocaust and Nazi oppression as well as visiting the former Stutthof concentration camps and Berlin’s Holocaust museum and memorial. They will also tour the site of Gdansk’s shipyards, the birthplace of Poland’s Solidarity movement, which helped topple Communist rule.
