The death of the Full House star was confirmed on Twitter by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. A cause of death was not revealed.
Earlier today, deputies were called to the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes for a call about an unresponsive man in a hotel room. Saget was best known for his role as patriarch Danny Tanner in Full House and as the host of America’s Funniest Home Videos.
The stand-up comic had embarked on a tour of the US in September 2021, which was due to run until June of this year.
He played a show in Jacksonville the night before he died.
