Dua Lipa’s new album released a week early
Dua Lipa’s new album is being released on 27 March, providing some much-needed entertainment for her fans in lockdown around the world.

The singer brought the release date of Future Nostalgia forward a week after it leaked online.

The Brit star said she wasn’t sure if releasing the album amid the coronavirus outbreak was “the right thing”, but hopes it brings joy to people.

“I’ve been a little bit conflicted about whether it’s the right thing to do during this time because lots of people are suffering,” she said.

“I’m not sure if I’m even doing the right thing,” she continued, “but I think the thing we need the most at the moment is music, and we need joy and we need to be trying to see the light.

“I hope it makes you smile and I hope it makes you dance and I hope I make you proud.”

The highly-anticipated album is Lipa’s second, with her debut self-titled album earning her two Brit Awards and a Grammy for best new artist.

The star released a new single from Future Nostalgia on Wednesday, “Break My Heart”, which is the album’s fourth track.

Lipa’s world tour has been postponed due to coronavirus, with tickets sold for the UK and European legs of her tour to be honoured on new dates.
