Cute critters steal the show in Gucci’s latest campaign
For Gucci's pre-fall 2020 campaign, the Italian fashion house eschewed its usual penchant for celebrities in favour of a handful of furry yet extremely adorable animals.

Jared Leto, Harry Styles, Florence Welch and Lana Del Rey are just a handful of the big names Gucci has turned to in the past to bring its campaigns to life. But for its pre-fall 2020 campaign, the Italian fashion house eschewed its usual penchant for celebrities in favour of a handful of furry yet extremely adorable animals.

The premise behind the aptly named ‘So Deer To Me Campaign’ is sweet and simple: “In a child’s world, any pet—a skunk, a frog or an owl—can be a best friend.”

The very cute campaign features owls, hedgehogs, deer, bunny rabbits, ducks, frogs and other little critters. Be prepared to fawn over them all in the campaign video

Earlier this year, Gucci partnered with The Lion’s Share Fund, which works with businesses to raise funds to protect endangered species and their habitats. Each time that an animal is featured in a Gucci advertisement, 0.5% of their media spend goes directly to The Lion’s Share to help animals in need.

To celebrate the partnership, last week Gucci released a series of videos with acclaimed natural historian David Attenborough. You can watch on of them below and head over to Gucci’s Instagram to watch the others and also meet some of the cute stars of the pre-fall campaign.
