Curated Cool: Jackalope Hotel

Curated Cool: Jackalope Hotel
Up against the luxury accommodation and inspiring design, the food and drink offering at this impressive Mornington Peninsula hotel still manages to shine.

Recently opened in the heart of the Mornington Peninsula, Jackalope offers opulent accomodation, idyllic vineyard views and two dining experiences: Rare Hare winery restaurant and the refined Doot Doot Doot restaurant. The hotel’s bar, Flaggerdoot, delights in the alchemic process of distillation with experimental spirits and a daring cocktail menu. The hotel is the debut property of 30-year-old Melbourne entrepreneur Louis Li who has created an aesthetic space that will make design lovers swoon. Here you will find statement furniture by Melbourne’s Zuster, striking installations by Rick Owens and a seven-metre-tall namesake sculpted by Melbourne artist Emily Floyd at the hotel’s entrance.
