The Garden City will celebrate October’s World Vegetarian and World Animal Days with the return of the Christchurch Vegan Expo.
Past events have attracted thousands of people, who enjoy the diverse range of food availabe as well as chef demonstrations and educational seminars about vegetarian and vegan diets. The 2017 event features special guest Aaron Brunet, who won won MasterChef NZ in 2013.
There are more than 10,000 vegetarians in Christchurch – the most amount in any New Zealand city.
The Christchurch Vegan Expo is on Sunday 8th October at the Air Force Museum of New Zealand, Wigram. Parking is free and entry is $5 on the door.
