Barry’s owners, Wayne Sowerby and Kate Hayllar, from Cumbria first discovered their dog Barry had a penchant for human activities after putting him on a skateboard when he was a puppy.
After Barry insisted on being pushed around on it, the couple decided to progress his experience to a more complex object.
The tricycle was therefore a natural progression… Wasn’t it?
After placing him on the bike, the couple moved away slowly only to find that once again Barry enjoyed sitting on it and was quite comfortable with the role of cyclist.
“When we moved away he just carried on sitting there and we thought ‘what’s going on here?” Sowerby said.
Barry, the Bedlington terrier doesn’t actually pedal. He just sits up straight and goes along for the ride – but a dog can dream.
Watch him in action.
