The singer attended a virtual memorial service for the victims, and shared a message of support with those affected by the tragedy.
“It’s a scientific fact that human beings are pack animals, we’re not supposed to be left on our own. We need each other to survive. and that is something that I truly see in action with the Grenfell community,” she said.
“I have never been so moved or so inspired by a group of people before. Your resilience is second to none. No one could expect anyone to have the amount of resilience that you guys have.”
She expressed her gratitude for Grenfell United, a group campaigning for safe homes which is made up of bereaved families and survivors of the tragedy.
“It’s one of my proudest things to be involved with Grenfell United and to support your fight for true justice and also for the protection of other people,” Adele said.
The star has been heavily involved in supporting the victims’ families following the blaze, and publicly backed a petition calling for a public inquiry into the fire.
Her message comes exactly three years on from the tragedy, which started as a small kitchen fire on the fourth floor of the high-rise.
The flammable cladding that covered the tower meant the fire spread rapidly, engulfing the whole building.
