Fans of the hit 80’s show The Golden Girls are about to set sail on a themed cruise this month. The ‘Golden Fans at Sea’ sets off from Miami and visits Key West and Cozumel over five nights.
This year’s cruise quickly sold out when it was first announced, but those who missed out will get another chance next year.
Events company Flip Phone who runs the cruise recently announced they’ll be hosting a second Golden Girls-themed cruise in April 2021.
The cruise features a huge variety of events, from a cheesecake party, to trivia nights, to a Golden-Girls themed drag show.
Fans also get the full immersive experience with Rose, Dorothy, Blanche and Sophia, with costume contents, talent shows and maybe even Dorothy’s bingo in the line-up.
“This is an event created by fans, for fans. It’s a chance for fans to connect and share their love of the show,” says a representative from Flip Phone.
