A Whaley simple egg carton craft, and a handy place to store things too! I’ve got a few ideas about what to put inside our whale.. just need to go for a walk first.. . Have you heard about the new weekly craft challenge at #makecreateplay? Set up by the wonderful @minimadthings (if you haven’t already, go take a look at her fabulous creations!) It’s all about using what you have to make things with your little ones that they can play with after. Something I’m passionate about as well. There are plenty of super duper creative insta accounts joining in during launch week, so it would be fantastic if you did too! The theme this week is fancy dress. . #eggcartoncraft #eggcartoncraftsforkids #whale #whalecraft #kidscrafts #kidscrafts101 #recyclination #somethingfromnothing #recycleandplay #usewhatyouhave #craftykids #reusecreate #recyclecreate

This craft project is super straightforward and doesn’t require a how-to video.

Grab an old egg carton, some paint, cardboard and paper and let kids create their very own zoo animals.

Paper plate butterflies

For this one, all you need are some popsicle sticks, paper or plastic plate, some glue and paints.

Start by letting kids paint the plates and stick, then once you’ve helped them cut them, glue it all together to make colourful butterflies.
