3D Printing helps puppy walk again
Tumbles the puppy receives a bespoke 3D printed wheelchair.

This 6 week old puppy Tumbles, a terrier mix, was born without his two front legs and taken in by the Friends of the Shelter Dogs (FOSD) in Ohio when he was just 2 weeks old.

Being the runt of the litter and learning how to manage his disability, Tumbles required a lot of extra care and help to keep healthy and strong.

After seeing pictures of Tumbles on the FOSD Facebook page a clever couple approached FOSD with a design to get Tumbles mobile, enlisting the help of the Ohio University Innovation Centre to use their 3D printer.
