“People do not decide to become extraordinary. They decide to accomplish extraordinary things.” – Sir Edmund Hillary (1919-2008)
McHugh Media is an integrated media company delivering local and global content across a wide range of integrated media platforms. Launched in 2008 by passionate husband-and-wife team Michael and Michelle McHugh, this family business continues to share its MiNDFOOD smart thinking philosophy with readers around the globe.
MiNDFOOD is built around the core editorial platforms of Community, Culture, Health, Beauty, Style, Décor, Travel, Food and Drink. Readers can access content across a wide range of multimedia platforms: online, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter and the monthly magazine.
“When we launched MiNDFOOD ten years ago there was no social media, we created engaging content and gradually spread that content across the different media platforms as the years went on,” says Editor-in-Chief Michael.
Michael’s background in publishing includes founding two award-winning magazines, Delicious and Notebook:, both publications winning the MPA Australian Launch Magazine of the Year, and winning MPA Publisher of the Year in New Zealand.
The MiNDFOOD audience is regularly invited to events and the online shop where exclusive limited edition products are also sold is another addition to the network of MiNDFOOD. “We have found an audience – or perhaps they found us – that is intelligent, engaged and appreciates quality content,” Michael says.
