WORLD has ventured into the realm of leather goods, launching their first collection just in time to make it onto our Christmas wish list. The range – which is limited edition – includes three styles of bags in three theme colours. Drawing inspiration from three cities where WORLD has a flagship store, the three styles are named Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch – with each design reflecting the personality of the city.
The handcrafted pebble leather bag collection combines exceptional luxury with functional design and practically. In fact, WORLD’s Denise L’Estrange-Corbet carried the prototype around for six months to see how it performed. “People can often let themselves down, as they will spend an enormous amount of time on their outfit, but not what the carry, and it says so much about who you are, it is as important as everything else you wear,” says L’Estrange-Corbet.
