Place sticky tape on the outer edge of the eye to create an angled line up towards your outer eyebrow. Smudge black eye shadow across the eyelid and follow the sticky-tape line to create the winged shape. Remove tape. Rim eyes with black eyeliner and apply a thin stroke of white eyeliner on the inner rim. Finish with lashings of mascara.
To complement the smouldering eyes and bronzed cheekbones of the season, create pouty toffee-toned lips. First, line the lips with a matching lipliner, then fill with a creamy, glossy lipstick. Alternatively, create a more subdued daytime look with nude lips in pale pink, either glossy or matt.
Big hair is back. To achieve voluptuous volume, apply mousse to the hair and then set in rollers. Once the hair is set, brush the curls out, backcombing at the roots for maximum volume. Style into the desired shape and spray with hair spray, as well as a shine spray for added gloss.
To illuminate and contour facial features, begin with a flawless foundation base and then generously apply bronzer or a peachy blush on the apples of the cheeks. With nail art becoming a popular trend, it’s time to have fun with your nails this autumn by painting them in contrasting patterns, colours and designs.
