Photographer Jessica Fullford-Dobson’s newest photo series, is bringing much needed attention to Skateistan, a non-for-profit organisation that’s spreading confidence and the opportunity for eduction through skateboarding.
Forty percent of the participants are female, making this initiative, the largest female sporting organisation in Afghanistan.
The series, entitled “Skate Girls of Kabul” gives a human face to the organisation, offering a rare glimpse into social change in action.
