Haute Couture Fashion Week in Paris was all about presenting collections for winter but Elie Saab, Atelier Versace, Valentino and Schiaparelli put us into a distinctly spring mood with their use of laurel leaf and floral circlets.
Versace and Saab’s looks could have stepped out of Botticelli’s ‘Allegory of Spring’ masterpiece while Schiaparelli, Valentino and Julien Fournie looked to Greco-Roman myths and legends.
