Gucci’s new campaign travels to a galaxy far, far away

Gucci’s pre-fall campaign is nothing if not unique. Shot by Glen Luchford, the campaign transports viewers to the outskirts of our solar system, depicting a shiny, futuristic outer space complete with spaceships, aliens and humanoids.

Psychedelia abounds in this sci-fi inspired world, where the fashion matches the outlandish landscape. Metallics, florals and retro knits merge with sequins and extravagant embellishments to create an endearingly discordant aesthetic.

The photographs are complemented by the director’s cut video below – check it out for more bizarre galactic inspiration.
