The global phenomenon that is Diner en Blanc is set to transform one of Auckland’s public spaces on February 21.
The dress code â€“ white, or as you say in French, ‘blanc’. The secret location is only revealed to diners at the very last minute.
Last year the inaugural New Zealand Diner en Blanc was attended by 800 diners dressed head to toe in white.
Globally Diner en Blanc attracts more than 100,000 people each year. Not bad for a “friends and word-of-mouth” event in 1988 started by Francois Pasquier and a handful of friends.
