Abascal’s bedroom has artwork by Paola Pivi above the bed made from plexiglas beads, entitled Pearls, and one of her favourite pieces, Samurai Tree by Gabriel Orozco, is above the dressing table
Adriana Abascal’s love of art is evident everywhere. In her Parisian sitting room, above the custom-designed sofa, sits My Neighbor’s Wife by Richard Prince; the black and white artwork on the left is Lester Junior by Christopher Wool; and the glass beaded necklace on the right is Le Collier-porte by Jean-Michel Othoniel.
Abascal’s dressing room was originally the petit salon of the Paris apartment but now serves as a large wardrobe and intimate space to catch up with friends. A crystal Baccarat horse head stands on a bleached white oak coffee table with a mirrored top designed by Carole Katleman and Daniel Cuevas. The white armchairs were also custom-designed by the duo.
