My name is Greg Taylor and I’m a plastic reconstructive and cosmetic surgeon. I’ve trained in New Zealand, Canada and Britain, and have worked in Auckland since 1986. I have a particular interest in local anaesthetic facial surgery.
I love the interaction with patients in my practice, many have become good friends. I find it particularly gratifying to help people cope with the effects of ageing and other physical problems which can have a profound effect on confidence and self-esteem.
In addition to cosmetic surgery, my practice, Cosmetic Art, is an expert in managing skin cancer and also has an appearance medicine clinic.
In the next few months I’ll be covering a variety of topics. I’ll talk about the holistic approach to cosmetic surgery, discussing the best of appearance medicine and cosmetic surgery techniques.
I’ll also blog about recent trends in facial surgery, and how accessible this and other facial surgery has become, as well as where liposuction and other techniques fit into the management of body contour.
I am keen to establish a Q&A service, so feel free to make a comment or ask a question. I see my blog informing the public about recent trends and effective surgical techniques, and commenting on topical issues which may arise in the popular press and on television.
