Hot Drinks for Dry July
Keep warm this winter with our favourite soothing mocktails for Dry July.

Mulled ‘non alcoholic’ wine (pictured above)

A hot drink on a cold day is comfort in a cup; mulled wine in particular is an extra special winter warmer. For a non-alcoholic (but equally delicious) version, Heat up apple or blackcurrant juice with orange and/or lemon peel, a cinnamon stick and a couple of cloves then add sugar or honey to taste.

Based on the popular retro chocolate treat, this drink will take you back down memory lane. It’s sure to delight any dinner guest, the young or the young-at-heart. For the non-alcoholic version, simply omit the crème de cacao and crème de menthe in favour of a few drops of peppermint essence. Delicious!

If you’re going for more of a health booster than avoid sugary drinks during the cold & flu season as they suppress immunity. Opt instead for this warming drop.

This soothing tipple usually has rum in the recipe but for a delicious non-alcoholic version simply omit the rum. We like to add a dash of caramel or butterscotch sauce for a decadent treat.
