World Vegetarian Day

World Vegetarian Day
Why not celebrate with some of our favourite vegetarian recipes?

Held annually on October 1st, World Vegetarian Day encourages people to cook, share and enjoy vegetarian meals and engage in discussions about the health and environmental benefits of a vegetarian diet. The day has been recognised since 1977 when the North American Vegetarian Society created the idea.

If you’re a dedicated meat-eater, why not take this opportunity to sample some new and exciting dishes, full of nutritious, fresh ingredients. Just one day of meat-free meals will make a difference.

To celebrate, here are 5 of our favourite vegetarian recipes.

Cheesy Potato Skins with Kale & Salsa (pictured above)

Chickpea Crepes with Mushroom Ragu and Goats Curd

Field Mushroom Tartlets

Orecchiette with Broccoli

Vegetarian Lasagne Cake

Ricotta and Spinach Gnocchi
