The Queen has a particular dislike for a certain creature; it’s not someone within the royal family, in fact it isn’t even of the human kind… It’s a Shetland Pony.

If you’re thinking Donald Trump, think again. The Queen’s biggest nemesis is none other than Shetland Pony, Cruachan IV.

In an appearance in Scotland this week, the Queen came face to face with the enemy. The pony, whose official name is Mascot Cruachan IV, came face to face with the Queen. As the monarch stepped out of her car, the pony promptly relieved itself on the ground in front of her. The Queen was then seen holding her nose in disgust and walking away. The guards beside her were seen breaking tradition, cracking a smile.

Just last year the pony made headlines when he tried to eat some flowers that the Queen was holding. This prompted the monarch to say “go away” to the horse. A few months later, the cheeky horse tried to bite Prince Harry during an official outing with Meghan Markle. In other words, this pony has serious beef – or horse shall we say? – with the royal family.
