30 August – 8 September: The Royal Adelaide Show, Adelaide Showground

The Royal Adelaide Show is back and better than ever. Soak up the excitement of the judging ring, check out the displays of handicrafts and cookery, be wowed by the woodchopping, then round it all off by sitting back and watching the nightly fireworks.

6-8 September: Barossa Gourmet Weekend

This one’s a bit out of the city, but well worth the drive. 11-14 September: North/South, Adelaide Festival Centre

12-16 September: Papercuts Comics Festival, North Adelaide Community Centre

12-21 September: Girl Asleep, Adelaide Festival Centre

Greta Driscoll is chronically shy and privately falling apart. Frozen in the spotlight of her 15th birthday, things go from bad to worse when a stranger arrives and propels her into a parallel world that’s weirdly erotic, violent and thoroughly ludicrous.

14 September: Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire in Concert, Adelaide Entertainment Centre

21-29 September: Annual Tour 2019
