Tiger Woods rushed to hospital after serious car crash

Tiger Woods has been hospitalised after being involved in a car accident in Los Angeles.

The vehicle sustained major damage, with Woods needing to be extricated from the wreck with the ‘jaws of life’ by firefighters and paramedics.

Woods was driving an SUV which crashed and rolled over. He was transported to a local hospital by ambulance.

Woods’ agent Mark Steinberg said in a statement that the golfer suffered multiple leg injuries in the crash, and that he was currently in surgery.

Police responded to a roll-over traffic collision at around 7.12am local time. A traffic investigation is underway.
