Hit 1990s sitcom The Nanny is Broadway-bound, set to be adapted into a musical.

The show’s star and creator Fran Drescher announced the news via Instagram after dropping hints that a reboot of some form was in the works.

Drescher and co-creator/ex-husband Peter Marc Jacobsen will write the show’s book together, while Crazy Ex-Girlfriend creator and star Rachel Bloom will write the music alongside Adam Schlesinger.

The musical will be directed by Marc Bruni, who directed Beautiful: The Carole King Musical on Broadway.

It will be produced by father-son duo Brian and Scott Zeilinger, who have previously produced Dear Evan Hanson and Mean Girls.

The Nanny aired for six seasons from 1993 to 1999 and starred Drescher as Fran Fine, a nanny from Queens who works for a wealthy Manhatten family.

Drescher won’t be reprising her role as Fran, but she announced with Jacobsen that they “feel confident we will find a fabulous actress who is funny, charming and has a great voice.”
