Hot on the heels of the Queen flick ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’, the newly released ‘Rocketman’ trailer offers fans a bit of Elton John nostalgia.

Movies about British rock stars are so big right now. After completing Bohemian Rhapsody, director Dexter Fletcher is back with a biopic of Elton John, starring Taron Egerton as a young Elton.

“The movie looks like it’ll be a somewhat unconventional take on the music biopic with dream and dance sequences aplenty,” reports Vulture. From the trailer, it seems as of the film will capture all the excitement, mania, and utter exhaustion of John’s specific brand of superstardom.

Egerton is seen performing “Tiny Dancer”, honing his talent at home, rising to fame and grappling with the pitfalls that superstardom can bring. The film also stars Jamie Bell (as John’s longtime lyricist Bernie Taupin), Richard Madden, and Bryce Dallas Howard; English actor Dexter Fletcher.

“Rocketman” hits theaters on May 31, 2019.
