The Queen isn’t in the business of advertising her favourite lipstick, but there are ways to discern her beauty routine from her royal warrants, granted to a select few companies that have been supplying the House of Windsor for years, and have earned the privilege to boast about their royal clientele.

Clarins Ever Matte Mineral Powder Compact
The Queen was famously crowned wearing Clarins cosmetics, after commissioning the company to create a shade of lipstick that went with her coronation robes. She still uses their products regularly (Clarins holds a royal warrant for “skincare and cosmetics”), and it’s rumoured that its Ever Matte powder is among the royal must-haves.
Essie Nail Lacquer in Ballet Slippers
According to Essie’s website (and a few other sources), the Queen’s hairdresser wrote to the brand’s founder, Essie Weingarten, in 1989 to request a bottle of Ballet Slippers. Rumour has it that to this day, it’s the only polish that graces Her Majesty’s nails.
Clarins Hand And Nail Treatment Cream
Those in the know say – including the Telegraph newspaper – says this tube of hand and nail cream is rumoured to “never run out at the palace.”
Elizabeth Arden Beautiful Colour Moisturising Lipstick
The Queen has long been a fan of Elizabeth Arden’s lipsticks – the brand has held a royal warrant for over 55 years. Though it’s not known exactly which colour the British monarch prefers, she does tend to sport bold pink shades, similar to Rosy Shimmer.
Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant
Another of the Queen’s favourites. In 2016 an Elizabeth Arden spokeswoman revealed the brand frequently communicated with her senior dresser, Angela Kelly. “We work closely with Angela Kelly and her team to ensure we provide excellent service for whatever Her Majesty requires, or would like to try,” the spokeswoman told the Telegraph. “We can reveal that we are immensely proud.”
Bronnley Lemon & Neroli Soaps
Bronnley was first awarded a royal warrant in 1943 by King George VI and his daughter kept up the tradition. It’s not known exactly which Bronnley products are stocked at Buckingham Palace, but Lemon and Neroli Soap is a good bet. It’s one of Bronnley’s fan favourites.
Molton Brown Delicious Rhubarb and Rose Fine Liquid Hand Wash
Yet another royal warrant-holder, Molton Brown has the privilege of supplying the Queen with “toiletries”. Again, no one’s managed to discover which particular products the monarch enjoys, but based on her penchant for pink, this body wash is a strong contender.
Kent Oval Cherry Wood White Bristle Brush
The world’s oldest brush manufacturer has held a royal warrant for a whopping nine reigning monarchs, including the present Queen.
